BlackBerry weighs putting itself up for sale

Toronto (ap) - the blackberry would consider selling their long-awaited debut after its new mobile phone, failed to reverse the troubled smartphone makers. The company said on Monday that its board of directors has set up a special committee to explore "strategic choice", hoping to enhance the value of the company, and push through the blackberry platform 10. The company said that its options may include joint venture, cooperation, or other actions. The Canadian company in the United States listed shares closed up 10.5%, to $10.78 on Monday. Blackberry, took the lead in 1999, has been the dominant smartphone before, apple iPhone launched in 2007, shows that mobile phone can handle much more than walking on E-mail and phone business people and other consumers.
